I See You

I just finished reading “I See You” by Clare Mackintosh. It is a psychological thriller that keeps the reader guessing until the very last page. Clare Mackintosh is an extremely talented writer, weaving characters in and out of a story but somehow incorporating all of them into a mystery.
The mystery in this book revolves around an on-line scheme which targets women. The main characters are a single mother who is one of the target, and a female police officer who has taken a special interest in the case.
The story is told from the perspective of these two women. I found the book to be very interesting and the characters to be well-written. There was enough mystery and suspense on everyn page to keep me interested. But, just when I thought the story was over…BANG…the biggest shock on the final ages.
Brilliant writing with a brilliant story and super engaging characters. Well Done Ms. MacKintosh…Well done!
